Adding Vitamin K in your Diet can Help Boost Your Heart Health, Says Study

A new study published recently in the Journal of American Heart Association tells facts about the importance of Vitamin K. It says that diet rich in vitamin K can significantly lower the risk of atherosclerosis-related cardiovascular disease (conditions affecting the heart or blood vessels).

Vitamin K2 & K1 Intake for Safeguarding your Heart

Now, you may feel like asking what is the proof of this study? Well, the experts conducted a survey on 50K plus people who participated in a Danish Diet, Cancer & Study over a certain period (not revealed). The study found that people with the highest intakes of vitamin K1 were 21 percent less likely to be hospitalized with cardiovascular disease related to atherosclerosis. For vitamin K2, the risk of being hospitalized was 14 percent lower.

There is more to it actually, since cardio-vascular diseases is one of the leading causes of major deaths worldwide and therefore, such findings can help healthcare look into the dietary aspects more seriously. Considering prevention and timely intervention in serious ailments can help protect people from the risk of health and hospitalization, this new study seems to be ray of hope for people with hearth issues.
