First-ever Virus Attenuation Device, now in India

India has time and again proven that it is global leader in bringing innovations, especially during the ongoing pandemic. From the launch of the vaccine that has showed great success rate, to now the launch of virus attenuation device.

The SHYCOZONE app, which was unveiled recently has become India’s first mobile application that shows the protected zones where the devices are installed within a 100 kms radius. The launch of SHYCOZONE embarks a step towards the Make in India initiative of the Prime Minister of India, and the commitment, as the device is designed and created at the Organisation De Scalene Foundation based in Bengaluru. Both Centre for Advanced Research and Development (CARD) and Organisation De Scalene Foundation, in association with the Miterr Group have together launched this mobile application.

The brand is the brainchild of Dr Rajah Vijay Kumar who started working on it much before the pandemic. “The coronavirus cases are soaring with each passing day and the only way ahead is to control the spread of virus. This device is a step towards ensuring safety and protection that too at an affordable price, ” said, Dr Kumar at a press meet recently.

Special Features of the Device

The application will primarily help locate the brand’s devices installed around. They are a protection device against viral particles of corona family. Shycocan is a generic device manufactured by many licenses of Scalene. The users can select the category for e.g restaurant, gym, theatre, schools & college, hospital, mall, hotel, etc and the application will showcase the device installed in that specific area. For now, this looks like a world class revolutionary technology, and can become a game changer in the worlds fight against Corona viruses and other airborne diseases such as seasonal Influenza.
