ICICI Lombard Collaborates with Dr. Reddy’s SVAAS Wellness for Cashless Out-patient Services

In a path-breaking digital health solutions & innovations, the two biggest giants of the country have come together and joined hands for offering the best to the patients.

It is a first-of-its-kind integrated and cashless digital health solution in India, where general insurance company ICICI Lombard and Dr. Reddy’s SVAAS, the digital health solutions will offer cashless outpatient services to health insurance policyholders. The launch will be of a pilot project in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam, and will expand gradually to pan-India.

The outpatients will get the benefit of doctor consultations, pathology laboratories and diagnostics services, pharmacies, and insurance through various suitable collaborations. ICICI Lombard is offering this facility to the policyholders through its comprehensive ILTakeCare app, and later, to a larger set of health conscious consumers across India.

Users will also get the benefit of teleconsultations, home sample collections and medicine deliveries as well as digital health record management. The pandemic has strongly underscored importance of digital healthcare services, and telemedicine has picked up pace in India in recent times, said M V Ramana, CEO-Branded Markets (India and Emerging Markets) of Dr Reddy’s in a press statement.
