As the country is set to be on a full throttle mode with unlocking happening in the major cities, there is a constant fear and anxiety among people. After a good 2 and a half months when the first Covid 19 positive case was registered, India is witnessing opening up of public places, especially the national capital – New Delhi.
Team Transformative will be bring to you the exclusive stories of the Covid recovered patients, who will be narrating their first-hand experiences with our readers. The first to recover in the national capital was a 45-year old patient who had travelled to Europe in the month of February.

In his words, ” I had mild throat infection, I went to the doctor and was given medicine for three days. I recovered but I again had fever so I went to the RML hospital where I tested.”
This Delhi resident was among the first seven positive cases of coronavirus reported in the city including a patient who died. Two of these, who had earlier tested positive for COVID-19 and were admitted to hospitals were also discharged post complete recovery, says the official statement of Delhi Health Department released to the media in the month of March.
The recovered patient also said that it was little different than the usual cold and cough, but it is curable, and one can come back home again as a healthy person. It just takes a little more time than the usual cold and cough.
